Fact from fiction, truth from diction. I guess it comes from the governing body of the given sports. I have heard gymnist getting stripped or skaters but so far no pro baseball players have gotten stripped that I know of. I guess there will be an asterisk behind them just as those who made their record because they wind was at their back etc.
If you have not been caught for steroid use when the sport achievement was obtained, the title will remain, if the person was tested and found to have ban substance (steroid) in there body they will stripped of the record/ sport achievement and banned for a set time.
