    It's not as impressive as it sounds. Or, depending on your viewpoint, it is exactly as unimpressive as it sounds.

    The reason is that such managerial positions have no creativity or leeway. You have to do everything their way. Once you leave, the next person does it exactly the same.

    That isn't leadership, it's being shoved into the cookie cutter. Aside from the title on your name badge, not much changes.

    Still, it's a much harder job than burger flipper, so it's not a complete waste.
