legally a repo cannot enter a locked gate, but all they have to do is break the lock off and get rid of it. it is basically hear say and your word against the repo company. repo men get paid per car! this is there income!
1. Yes, a "repo man" can enter a locked gate and do pretty much whatever is necessary to take the vehicle.
2. there is no limit
3. of course it's legal; loans get 'sold' all the time
its not a matter of justification, no the car is a debt she needs and intends to pay (one month in late) pay i was just seeking a legal opinion or someones personal experience not a moral one for her by they way she resides in New Jersey and the Car was purchased in Pennsylvina.
I guess the real question is, Why do you feel justified for not having paid for your car?
