Question

Did you know that whales and elephants have twice as many neurons as humans (Wikipedia: List of animals by number of neurons)? Also, when the (human) brain is 8 months old, it actually has twice as many neurons as the adult brain. Thoughts?

Are you saying you're suprised that animals many times larger than us also have larger brains? To me that would seem obvious. Have you seen an elephant's or whale's head? They're big.
