What is your favorite animal to have as a pet? Do you like male pets better or female, or does it not matter?

    Ok I am partial to my Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Aspen. I don't like all dogs and I have had a few. I like her breed because it is personable, good hunting companion, and I like to hunt, great with children, though you should always watch your children and your pets, and very intelligent. Also unlike other hunting dogs they are not really that hyper. As far as sex goes I think it more depends on the animal and the person wanting it I have had good/bad of both sexes.
    Now if you are wanting to know the best pet for you I say research, research, research! Be honest about time commitment, living situation, budget, affordability, the needs of that animal, health needs, and possible emergencies. Its also important to find a responsible/recommended breeder of said animal or a reputable/recommended store, why you want that pet, what you want it to do, and if possible get references. Also a good animal shelter with knowledgeable people can really help you out, be sure to tour the facility and look at conditions of the animals but keep in mind their budgets are pretty tight. While its ture you can't plan or prepare for everything the more you know the better things will be for all involved.

    Bunnies! Does are best. Generally female pets are better because males constantly go around spraying and marking their territory.
