Why aren't they already? It's 2009.

Probably about the same as it's worked out for any other seafaring vessel.
-
Probably the same as the whole submarine system works now.

No worse than women who fly planes in the Air Force and in the Navy. There'll be the same problems, such as rape, but that happens in the service and out. It's despicable, but it happens.

I'm sure they will do fine.

Mmmm, have you ever seen what happens when there are 15 little kids and only one blue crown...? Or when there are 100 parents and one Tickle-Me-Elmo...?

The only serious problem I can think of is rape, which tends to happen to women in the armed forced. Other than that, I see no issues.

I was living on a navy base and I will tell you after meeting quite a few woman on ships that it hardly ever worked out. So many of them would get knocked up because they were sick of going out to sea. From what I understand subs are extremely close quarters and very few guys can deal with that. Throw in some women and some things can go very wrong. Subs also stay underwater for weeks at a time and I think for months. What if the woman use the same tactic there. Then whatever mission they were on has to be changed to let her off. Not because she slipped and fell but because she just wanted off. Plus what happens when you are a girl and you are under stress, surrounded by guys and its that time of the month and showering is very limited and you are PMSing. Talk about dealing with a time bomb.
