It would be either the cartoon bear commercials for Hamm's Beer or the little puppet for Brill Cream.

The Hamm's Beer commercial started out, "From the land of sky blue waters...'

Brill Cream! A little dab'll do ya! Brill Cream! Brill Cream! You'll look so debonair! Brill Cream! The gals'll all pursue ya! So put a little Brill Cream in your hair!

You'll wonder where the yellow went when you brush your teeth with Pepsodent.
(Do they still make that stuff?)
Brylcream, a little dad 'l do ya. Brylcream, you look so debonair. Brylcream, a little dab 'l do ya..they'll love to get their fingers in your hair.
(My God, the stuff I remember. What's wrong with me?)
From the land of sky blue water. From the land of pines lofty folsoms, comes the beer refreshing. Hamms, the beer refreshing.
(What the hell are folsoms, anyway?)

In the 1950s, I clearly remember seeing TV commercials for HALO® Shampoo, when we first got a TV set in 1955 (Burlington, Iowa).

The Crossfire board game, and the "helmet buster" toy.

I actually had Crossfire, but google yields no results for "helmet buster." Maybe I dreamed it?

Fact from fiction, truth from diction. The 1st commercials I can remember was Joe Nammath and an unknown Farrah Fawcett, in Noxema commercial. No snickering, I know people are saying "who the hell is Joe Nammath?" LOL So I dated myself...phttttttph "Let Noxema cream your face, so the razor won't! The other was something to do with the Marlboro Man. All I remebered was I wanted to be old enough to ride like him and smoke his brand.

"If you think it's butter... but it's not... It's chiffon". I used to sing it"if you think it's butter.. but it's snot...It's chiffon". Lame, I know, but I was like 7 yrs. old, and I thought it was hilarious at the time.

I couldn't find the Campbell Soups commercial with the animated kids, back when they started with the "Mmmm Good" song.

But here's an old M&Ms commercial I remember

For me it would be two. The first being the Christmas commercial with the Hershey's kisses and the are supposed to be bells and the ring the tune to "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". That one has been around forever!!!
The second is the Cadbury cream egg commercial where a bunch of animals put on rabbit ears and try to pretend to be the Cadbury bunny. I love the lion!!!!!!

I remember a Maypo commercial where a kid put maple syrup in his cereal and they made it look like rivers flowing down a mountain.
I remember the Frito bandito and How about a nice Hawaiian punch?
    Also,
Charlie says, love my good and plenty.
    LOL

FOr sheer, outright bizarre surrealistic commercials, nothing can beat the Alka Seltzer commercial from the 60s.
It was done as a crudely executed cartoon showing a man sitting in one chair and his stomach in the next. The man and his stomach have an argument, the main claiming he loves peperoni pizza, the stomach responds, "You love heartburn? Well, that's what you'll get if you eat pepperoni pizza."
The stomach continues, berating the man's mother's cooking, the man grumbling that the stomach never had liked his mother, and the announcer finally chiming in that peace could be made with your stomach through the intervention of Alka Seltzer.
Who ever thought that one up must have been on acid.
