Help answer this question below.

Is it wrong to have a guy friend??lots of my friends think that it is. one of my friends thats a guy hangs with me a lot and people think we are dating but we arent i am only 12. should i keep a guy friend?

    Sure, having friends is great regardless of whether they are boys or girls. By the way hon, you need to wait until you are 14 to be on this site.

    There is nothing wrong with having guy friends. Its good to broaden your horizons. But wait to date him. Be friends until you are about 14 or so. That way you will know each other very well and more than likely will have a very strong relationship. Don't rush things. That is a big mistake alot of people make. Just enjoy being young and not having to deal with a committed realtionship. It is a part of life some people want back. Dating isnt scary, but it should be serious.
    Don't let other people tell you that he cant be your friend.

    Yes, you should definatly keep him as your friend. Do NOT let strangers and people you don't know very well run your life. Besides, 12 is TOO YOUNG to start dating. You are just a kid, keep your friend and be happy.
