• You are right! If we are talking full dressers and long miles then sorry... I'll take the wing.

  I ride a scruffy undressed road king '92, a bobber pan head, and a new v-rod. Nothing you can put between your legs feels like a harley. I tested newer models... will not give up the '92 even for a minute!

  Gotta say... a few times I pulled over to side on a ride... not a SINGLE hog passed without stopping to make sure I was right.

• Nice to meet you too. I've had the same experience with Harley riders offering to help, even when it wasn't needed. And I have to admit, I stop too. It's just what we Harley riders do. : )

• For a single rider or I get flagged. I would not think of doing any maintenance or fix any bike I have. But I will not allow anybody near the road king or the bobber... I wrench those myself. I have had a mechanic come to my garage to advise.

• Kewl. My ride is a 2007 Ultra Classic Electraglide. There's no way I would try to repair it myself! Heh!

  Now that I about it... I don't know why the finicky old road king is my favorite bike... or why the most memorable rides are ones where we broke down on the road.
