Help answer this question below.

Were there other people not related to adam and eve? who were the people cain bore the mark for them to see, were gentiles just other people on earth and not decendants of adam and eve?

    Cain eventually married his sister, as would his brother. Since they were much closer to perfection at that time, and life expectancy was well into the 900 years, there would be generations of relatives eventually from his siblings who would be around to see his mark.

    We are much farther from perfection now and inbreeding has much more drastic consequences than it did at the beginning of human history.

    People talk about repopulating the planet if they were the last man and woman on Earth, but seldom do they stop to think that their kids would have to procreate with each other to perpetuate the species... When you start with 2, it's the only way left to go. This is why people married people from other Tribes (or famlilies) even though they were related (the bigger the tribe, the more distance the relationship) to keep the gene pool diverse.

    hmm, lets see:

    #1 - Adam and Eve never existed, they are mere fables written by men who knew nothing of science or history.
    #2 - Since Adam and Eve were nothing more than fable, that means that any offspring they had were fables as well. Therefore Cain never existed either.
    #3 - Gentiles are the same as any other, they are of the HUMAN race. All humans share a common ancestor with all other life on this planet spanning a time frame of millions of years. I may as well ask; "Why doesn't the bible mention our common ancestry with chimpanzees?" Why? Because it is a book of fables, not science. DNA doesnt lie... religions do.

    Reader... remember in the book of Genesis 1chapter 26,27 and 28 verse. who did God make? Reader... remember God made Adam in Genesis 2nd chapter 5,6,7 verse. Reader... remember God put Adam to sleep in the 2nd chapter of Genesis and took a rib from Adam to created Woman. In respect... her name did not become Eve until after they disobey God. If God made Adam in the 1st chapter of Genesis he would have put him to sleep to make Woman. Reader... remember God creation is not that simple or complex. There is no way that God would allowed sin to be part of his creation. God sanctified that day and rest. When you read... pray and allow the Holy Ghost to guide your spirit. Remember... READ.

    Yes there were. The Bible calls them the Nephilim, and they were known as the soulless ones. Adam and Eve were different from them only in that they were given immortal souls. These were the source of many people that most cannot explain. Just one more proof that creationism and evolution can indeed coexist. However, Gentiles were simply not-Jews. Any Greek could be a Gentile.

    Good questions. The bible is confusing. In Genesis, there are so many "begats", you would think everyone was fornicating and breeding.

    I thought the mark of Cain was God's curse when Cain slew Abel, and meant to warn others of God's vengeance. Someone told me once that the descendants of Cain are black people who bear the mark of Cain (racist bullshit, of course).

    As I understand it the Gentiles were non-Israelite peoples. We gentiles must all be descended from Adam and Eve since they were the first of our species(according to creationism).

    For what ever reason the Bible only mentions Cain, Able then Seth as the children of Adam and Eve. It must be presumed Adam and Eve also had other children both male and female. Chances are very good that all three sons married or had children not only by their sisters but may have also had children with Eve. Incest was accepted at that time as necessary. There is much more to the incest taboos of today and yesteryear as well.

    I recently read that everyone in the world is at least 50th cousins to everyone.
