  • I would advise you to have the brake fluid added by competent service personnel, rather than doing it yourself, because it isn't as easy as simply opening up the master cylinder and pouring it in. Besides adding the fluid, the brake lines may need to be "bled," to make certain that they are free of any possible air, and the brakes themselves should be examined for leaks, as well as for making adjustments. Also, if YOU do the work, there's no guarantee or warranty, but if a proper service station does the labor, there will be. +5
