In the land of the hopeless-Jake Seamons
The streets are bare,
but the toxic rivers flow,
you have to prepare,
for the wicked unknown,
the people aren't nice,
their morals are torn,
they're cursed with life,
from the second they're born,
they live with a sickness,
that hides in the heart,
in the land of the hopeless,
you end when you start,
Great Poem Jake. keep up the 'creative genius' and let's see some more! +5 have a good one Man. Best, Jonathan
Honestly? It is very negative and I am a very positive person. I'm sorry but I do not like it. I'm not being mean, just being honest.

Very nice, Jake. I really like:
"they live with a sickness,
that hides in the heart,
in the land of the hopeless,
you end when you start, "
:)
thanks all!
Pretty good.
LOVEE IT!..almost as much as i love you!...jk
Great poem. A bleak but apt reflection of the peculiar problems we are experiencing in the world today. Well done.
Yeah, I really like it : )
Kinda reminds me of one of my early efforts. That was kinda thin, too. That's okay, just remember the imagery has to match the emotion. They say to make good poetry, all you have to do is open a vein and write. I don't see blood here.
your a bigg dork :p
