For the only one I love is thee...
Why can't love be a simple thing,
Hanging down a tree branch from above?
For The Maiden to bear her heart to sing
For the Lad go and say to her 'my love'
Would they live happily ever after do you say?
Or would there always be people against their fate?
I say that love comes in many forms today,
But that natural occurrences will never sate
This love that is in my soul, set free
By this love that was surely fated to be, by thee...
