Are divorce lawyer fees tax-deductible?

My wife who is divorced has a child that lives at home and she always claimed on taxes however because an old divorce decree he claims the boy now. if the boy is living with mom and dad is now claiming son,who gets the EIC?

My ex-husband claimed my son as a dependant. My son tried to file his return electronically and it was rejected. He made $4,530 last year. Why was his return rejected?

You're reading I separated recently and my spouse and I have no children together, however, we have children from previous relationships that lived with us. When I filed my taxes I was told that my husband claimed my daughter. Is there anything that I can do?
