ozzy osbourne all the way but i am not saying that i dont like dio
-
I like Dio, but I prefer Ozzy with Sabbath. I Love Ozzy.
-
Tough call. Ozzy was great. Without him there wouldn't have been a Black Sabbath, and all those legendary songs. His impact to this day is tremendous. Dio is a much better singer in my opinion, he brought a completely different sound, however he never achieved Ozzy's charisma and many fans never took him to heart. I wish he could have stayed longer in the band (only 2 studio albums and one live album), to possibly compare them better. He had respectable solo career afterwards (as did Ozzy). Ozzy wins on his legendary status.

It would have to be Ozzy...the man's lost a lot of brain cells...but he's almost legendary.
-
I could go with either.
-
Ozzy: see vieo http://www.noolmusic.com/blogs/YouTube_Music_Videos_60s_70s_-_Black_Sabbath_-_Iron_Man.shtml

Ozzy

ITS GOT TO BE OZZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
i used to think ozzy but he's really sold out latley ,dio plus dio is back in sabbath if you don't know about heaven and hell.
-
Too easy. Ozzy all the way.
-
100% Ronnie. I know Jack Black from Tenacious D would agree with me on this one. :-)
-
ozzy all the way.
-
One of the strongest voices in Metal history, Dio (God in Spanish). Yes, Ozzy sang on the classic Sabbath songs, and I like him, but Dio is the better singer. OK, I am biased, I met Dio - great to the fans. And he lives in my home state.
-
John Osbourne, of course! ahem...I meant 'Ozzy'
-
I would say Ozzy, he for me has an amazing voice. I love Black Sabbath, and prefere Ozzy as frontman. ROCK ON OZZY!!!!!!!!!
-
Ozzy!!!!......he is the best.....;)
-
Im with ruff on this one.. quote "I AM IRON MAN!" ozzy is a dude... all that money and fame but hes still as grounded as your average pub-drinker over here...
-
ozzy gives the classic gloomy evil focals with in my oppinion, is original which makes him a good singer dio is a phenomenol singer though
-
I pick dio. Ozzy was lucky the day he ever hooked up with tony and geezer. Black Sabbath would have been with or without Ozzy as tony and geezer wrote everything. Ronnie James Dio is a tremendous talent and took Sabbath further and helped make Heaven and Hell the best sabbath album in my opinion

I'd have to say Dio, I mean I'm a musician, and when I listen to music.... I really listen to it! I'm really serious about it, when I hear Ozzy's music it really sounds unprofessional(vocal wise), the only reason he's popular is because of Black Sabbath, and the legendary guitar players he magicly pulled out of his ass (Randy Rhodes, and Zach Wild) When you open your fucking ears and listen to Ozzy, you know the guy is over fucking rated. Dio has been a true musician his whole life, and he's hardley gotten any recognition for it, He's been rocking his whole life (by the way he's 67) and now you've got people comparing him to a drugy (ozzy) who doesn't even deserve the spot light. Lets say if Ozzy never existed, and Dio was the original singer of Black Sabbath, and He had sung and wrote Ironman, paranoid, and all the other hits Black Sabbath had with Ozzy, all the songs would still be hits, if not better ones. What I'm tring to say is when Black Sabbath was first rocking with ozzy, it was a time of easy success for [those] who wanted to play metal, because it was a fresh idea, there was hardley any competition besides Zepellin, and they didn't even like the term 'metal'. The only reason Dio isn't really a common household name like ozzy osbourne, is because Dio was participating with different genres, like the bands Elf, and Rainbow(which is under rated). If you're a true metal fan, you'de have agree with me on these terms: Dio is awesome; he's under-rated (deserves more recognition), he's gonna keep rockin' til the day he dies. I mean he's the man who popularized the Devil's Horns, which is used by everyone today. All u Oz fans can have ur hissy fits and temper tantrums after this but facts are facts. If u do comment on this post negatively u just proove me right
-
Black Sabbath with either of the two was good...just different.
-
I like them with Dio better, because Dio is a far better vocalist than Ozzy. I mean the man is something about 65 years old and he still sings as if he were 25.
-
Ozzy is okay but I have always been a bigger Dio fan. I love all the Dio Sabbath albums while the Ozzy ones are a mixed bag.
-
Sabbath without Ozzy is not Black Sabbath. They were more like Rainbow with Dio in the band.
-
Dio.
-
Ozzy until the Goth scene Dio was a washed up old man, while Ozzy still had somewhat of a career
-
Ozzy + Black Sabbath are great!... Dio + Black Sabbath are ok
