  • You get fined and you driving privilege gets suspended.
  • When I was underage, the police would normally just confiscate our booze and tell us to go home. If someone was rude to them, they would get thrown in the drunk tank and their parents would be called. Admittedly, it's been more than a few years though so, things could have changed.

  • Why doesn't anyone legitimately know the answer to this? Sheesh. If you get caught by the COPS, then you get a Minor Consumption charge (we just call them "MC"s here), which then goes on your criminal record for a certain amount of time. You usually have to do community service or something similar in addition to the fine. Some people also get driving privelidges revoked and things that like. A lot of people also get sent to treatment when their parents find out. I live in a small town. Drinking and drugs are a big pastime here. I can name 30 people that I know personally off the top of my head that this has happened to.
  • you're screwed, to say the least. especially if youre driving a car.
  • From my experiences, as long as you not breaking any other laws, (vandalism, trespassing, driving while drinking,...) you just get the alcohol taken away.
