My guess is that it's because he's been taught to believe that sex should not be enjoyed by women and if they do enjoy it, they're "bad" women. If this is the case then he'd most definitely not want to watch porno with you.
Perhaps you can persuade him to have not one but a number of long talks with you about this and everything that causing him to view you looking for porno with him in a negative way.
Hopefully you can persuade him that you're still you and won't change just because you might watch some porno with him. If you can get him to talk to you about this you might ask him directly exactly why does he think it's discusting the idea of you watching porno with him?

hearing it is not the same as catching him, some cinema flicks have graphic porn scenes. As for watching it together he doesn't feel comfortable because he's nervous about your reaction to his taste or style as he can't lie about it as you sleep with him! But a stranger he can pretend he's a porn star in bed.
