I still dont understander why the right lung as three lobes?

    1. because it doesn't have 4.

    2. because that is how god designed it. (Go read the owners manual)
    and

    3. in part, because it wider than the left. The left can't have three because ff the placement of the heart.

    note that the right is shorter (to accommodate the liver).
