I am in a carpenters union and i am interested in moving to another state, is it possible to transfer from my union to a union in another state, or would i have to drop out of my union and apply to the one over there?

    I am in the carpenters unoin out of kansas city mo. Local 777 Harrisonville mo, all you have to do is call distric council (your hall) and have them transfer all your records to what state your wanting to move to and your health and welfare will transfer also.

    My husband is in the IBEW and he has trasfered to different states and he said you can transfer your ticket to any state.
