My very close friend has 2 little girls and after her second child she had the mirena placed inside her cervix 9 months later it started causing her pain so they took that one out and places a smaller version in about 4 months later she got pregnant with triplets...she aborted them because she is only 20 years old and 2 kids is enough for her right now and wouldnt be able to deal with another 3...now the doctors cannot find the mirena they beleive it must have fallen out at some point...so there is always a chance that it might fall out so always be aware of that
