Help answer this question below.
Yes, I wasn't their boss, but sat down with them for lunch and informed them that it was imapropriate and that it was stealing from the company, thurther that they could do what they want after work hours. I also stated that it was bad for morale of the other employee's. This did not go over well with them, and they denied it. It was hard when I gave them photos. It was satisfying in that the guy had been giving me a hard time on some things.
Yes; more than one actually. The most memorable is the VP who was married for 25 years before he started screwing around with a CSR. He was a real a$$; and not attractive either inside or outside. She was after the money and I think he even realzied it! She had another guy besides him who bought her a new Cadillac. She gave him an ultimatum to leave his wife or she was going to be with the other guy. He left his wife for her and married her. I still remember his 1st wife sending them black roses on their "anniversary". The company finally told her she would have to quit because it was a "conflict of interest". Actually, she did very little work and would be caught sleeping at her desk; but never got in trouble for it. It caused a lot of uneasiness and jealousy from all the other CSRs.
YES a couple of weeks ago i walk into the office late and dude was banging her on the supervisors desk!i mad sure they knew they were busted, i never said anything to anyone at work.i really like both people.i even asked a question about it here on AB cause i couldn't stop laughing.
No. I never have that I know of. And, it certainly never was me. I had a Board Member in his late 50's who very plainly told me when I was about 26 to, "Never **** the help." Good advice!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my, reading these answers makes me sad. There seems to be such a small fraction of people with good morals and strength of character these days.
Yes. I think there is an office affair going on now.
Yes - they thought they were being discreet but EVERYBODY knew. Then her husband had a stroke and the first person she called (at 5am) to say she wouldn't be in to work the next day was the boss she was sleeping with.
It got very awkward when she came back and he needed to "comfort" her!
Yes and it was very uncomfortable, and loss of respect
Yes, they expected a few of us to lie for them. I said NO way! Better hope I don't answer that call:):)
Yes. The moron ruined his marriage and family over a dingbat.
Only one that I've been aware of. That was many years ago.
I have, but I was just a kid at the time, so I didn't feel it was any of my business and kept out of it...
Once, back around 1984. I just didn't like being around the sleaze vibes.
Yes..my boss, the architect. When I first started my job he was having an affair with his secretary. She left and he got another secretary who was prettier and boom another affair. He was married and both of the "ladies" were married. I knew his wife and we became friends and had lunch a couple of times and I couldn't stand it so I left. Not a good situation. :(
No I haven't worked with any. But I've known a many that have happened. +5
Absolutely. I was unaware of it but the law office I worked in for 23 years was filled with examples. At the very end I learned what had been happening right under my nose. The word was, never open a door without knocking first. And I understand, now, that this was not uncommon.
I had a boss who was having an affair with one of my co-workers. The whole situation played out like a soap opera. +5
No .... at least not that I know of ... well no that wouldn't count, it wasn't an affair
Yes. Not very impressive...
Yes, and I was the one with whom she was having the affair (they were separated then and eventually divorced).
Yes. Wanted us to lie and keep it quiet because it was against company policy. I just ignored it and went on with my job. It was a supermarket though, not an office.
Yes a couple times.
I worked for a political backed company on a contract for a few months and some of the sleaze... were it not for contract I could have made fortunes with pictures of politicians, business men and high ranking officals getting stuck into some totti
Not as far as I was aware.+5
Yes I have and that is all I am going to say on the subject. :O)
yep, I just stayed out of it. I ddint see or hear anything becasue I dont want to end up in an intenal investigation becasue their lack of decency.
Yep, me. Great :-)
Get it up ya - you holier-than-thou preachers !
