Are you kidding Ed.
Jim Leyland is the best manager in baseball.
He wanted the Phillies job so bad, but the Phils took Charlie Manuel.
It took me three years and a World series title to get over that.
Sad to see the Tigers win, but good for the Twins.
yes, ever since the marblo man took over they just plain stink.
Remember 2006 was set up by Trammell and his coachs.
back in 05 tramm and his staff had wanted to bring up Granderson but they were told he was not ready for the big leagues.
When Grandy came up in late Aug or Spet he was the biggest imporvement over Nook Logan the CF at that time.
Now Grandy is Yankee.
I say get rid of the GM Dubomski, as well.

You're reading 2009 Detroit Tigers - do you think it was one of the biggest chokes in baseball history? Should Jim Leyland be fired?
Comments
Sorry, but I've never been a fan of Leyland. He was a cry baby with the Pirates, then Florida bought a World Series (then they dismantled the team in the off-season), he had the team with the second highest payroll in 2008 and the Tigers finished in last place and now they blew the 2009 season after being in 1st place for 140 games.
