Sounds like you've been given the gift of being able to see into the future. .

I would be really mad and just leave the mess there.

this happens to me all the time!! although he doesnt sound as rude as what your question made it (although that is still rude) He just tells me he cant be bothered and will do it in the morning because he is so stuffed. i some times do it that night because i hate the mess... or i try to be stubborn and leave the dishes pile up for days!! that doesnt work either. so i will do them the next day. but when he gets in his GOOD moods, he cleans everything. he hwil do the dishes, clean out the fridge and the cupboard and hte microwave, scrub the oven etc... so i dont complain too much because when he does clean he does it great! he actually did this last night

That an alien invaded Jim's body. I can't even imagine his ever being that rude. He is the one that loads the dishwasher for me...he is that one that always keeps the sink clear for me. We are a team. I do the food prep and he does most of the cleanup while I'm putting away leftovers or washing the pots/pans that don't go in the dishwasher. Happy Wednesday sweetie! :) ((hugs))

How ungrateful! No dinner for him then.

Wouldn't be a mess. I clean as I go.

It would be the last time I Cooked for them. Work should be shared around the house, You're not the maid.
-
LOL, I know that is a mistake I will never make again. I hope you like McDonalds, they are the only ones going to be cooking for your ungrateful ass.
-
Meh, that's the way it usually goes

+5 I do this on a regular basis. I am the cook; I cook, and clean up afterwards. What bothers me is when the (adult) kids follow suit of their parent and expect to get off without cleaning up anything afterwards. So i know where you are coming from. That makes me "boil" sometims:)
