Help answer this question below.

Aside from the fact that one is for alcoholics and one is for drug addicts, what is the difference between AA and NA?

    AA is older and usually is full of people that have more time. Where I live NA is not the best place to try to get solid recovery, AA is. I am lucky though because we also CMA (crystal meth anonymous). AA and NA also use different books. CA AND CMA work out of the AA Big Book. Only closed AA meetings want you to only be an alcoholic to share, they don't mind you being there to listen. NA usually has an issue if you identify as an alcohol. There symbols are different, AA is a circle and a triangle and NA is a diamond and a triangle. Hopefully this helps you clarify.

    AA only allows alcoholics. NA allows anyone with an addiction problem

    Mainly the amount of money that the addicted spends on their drug of choice.

    I hated being in a room of alcoholics that spend $15 a day on booze, and they have the same problem as me, when I can spend $1000 a night, easy...
