don't mix anything, if you're using proactive just continue to use it, and if that doesn't work then go see a dr and see if you can get a perscription wash. Proactive should clear up your face within a couple weeks if used properly.

rdoogz right.But also,change pillow case every 4-5 days,early, morning,or late evening sun 10-15 min daily
(dermatologist uses UV therapy)and careful with hair gels, and hair sprays. Sometimes blush brush, or make up can be the culprit.I think Murad is superior product.

when i was using proactive i used Dove soap to wash my face first, jut quickly and mostly around my eyes to get my makeup off.
Dove does not dry my skin out or make it feel oily. then i used proactive as normal. Proactive is not meant to go near your eyes, so using dove to wahsy my make up off worked perfectly.

I am trying proactiv for the first time today and I was browsing through their magazine of other products and they just came out with a bar of some designed to fight acne that works on your whole body. I am definitely going to give it a try because I get acne everywhere.
