don't mix anything, if you're using proactive just continue to use it, and if that doesn't work then go see a dr and see if you can get a perscription wash. Proactive should clear up your face within a couple weeks if used properly.

when i was using proactive i used Dove soap to wash my face first, jut quickly and mostly around my eyes to get my makeup off.
Dove does not dry my skin out or make it feel oily. then i used proactive as normal. Proactive is not meant to go near your eyes, so using dove to wahsy my make up off worked perfectly.
