1997 pontiac grand am, leaking coolant. hoses are fine. checked to be sure it wasnt leaking into exhaust or oil. both are fine. its dripping somewhere down behind engine

there are only so many places that it can leak from if I remember correctly there is a metal tube that runs under the engine to the heater core check the water pump, this could be corroded coolant will follow engine parts when the leak isn't severe so it comming from behind the engine doesn't mean that the leak is there you could try to get a pressure tester and fill it with coolant, and apply pressure to the system to make the leak more noticable
