If for example a person has an income of $150,000. Pays child support of $980/mth for 1st child. In TX how do I figure out what I would pay for a 2nd child from a different marriage? I also pay insurance.

  • If you make $150,000, you can afford to make an appointment with a lawyer who is knowledgeable about child support in Texas. You will get a better answer than the one you get from strangers on the Internet.

    i think child supprt is based off of your income as well as the other parent. so its hard to say. if your making a good deal more then the other parent, then your child support will be high. if they are making more then you, then they will be responsibe for the majority of the kids support which will make your payment lower.
