You're reading My 2007 Saturn Ion was in a crash. It had the OnStar service. OnStar advertises that it makes a call to the car if there is an accident. How does OnStar determine a car has been in a crash?

OK, the airbags didn't deploy for some reason even though the passenger side was smashed in.

yeah , the bags have to deploy to send a signal . i guess they dont want to be bothered if you are only hurt a little ;-).
