They can SUE, but whether or not they WIN and COLLECT, is dependant on how good YOUR lawyer is.

They can sue, but the chances of them winning just dropped significantly if your lawyer is even decent. If they weren't there it can also be argued that their kid was trespassing without permission and without your knowledge. I know that's not true, but it's not true that it's your fault their kid got hurt either.

get a lawyer and contact your homeowners insuance company...most insurance companies cover you for liability but you need to see for how much. it may help.
I think you should really be asking your lawyer this question as it seems you will really need one soon.
Hope you have insurance on your property which covers third party claims. This is how the legal profession makes its millions.

You're reading Ealier this yr. a little girl got hurt on my property while playing with my 5 yr old son. Her parents were sitting not even 10 feet from her whn it happened now they are trying to sue us. Since they were on my property too can they still sue us?
