At the minimum at least a week, two would be better. Deep kissing and other strenuous tongue activity should be put off until all swelling is definitely gone, since too much strain can make swelling worse.

until it heals, which usually takes about two weeks.
but don't worry. i can just about guarantee it won't get infected. it's rare tongue piercings get infected because of natural enzymes in the mouth.
I Have my tongue pierced and i have one problem
on my tongue i have Yelowish moss or somrthing. but tongue feels ok what is it ?
