Can my infant become constipated from having both formula and breastmilk?

I have not heard of that happening. When I switched to straight formula from breastfeeding w/ my son, he was constipated for a bit. But never when I was still feeding 1/2 and 1/2. Luckily, he loved prunes in baby food!
