demorgans in a COAT of Good Grace

Question

Help answer this question below.

Have you ever gone through a large period of time where you can't find a single good book to read? Everything you pick up is just not that great? Does it make the next great book you read seem even better?

Many times. As you said...some times one will ruin you for another. You need time to purge the mental palate...so to speak. Room for new and engaging ideas.
Sometimes just room for junk. Something that cleanses the mind. Like a taste of lemon after a meal.

Whatever your tastes some times you need a break. For me it's horror or SIFI. Makes the nuerons shake off the last memories. I prefer History and Archiology.

    Oh dear, yes.

It's like, readers block or something, haha.

I find great books once in a while. I've been trying to find a good book for a while, and there are many books I would like to read, and have tried to but it just doesn't work out. I figure I'll try again at some later date.

The book I'm currently reading was a book that was suggested to me by my boyfriend's father and it's great! So I'm glad I can actually sit down and read...
