Yes its a waste of money. My dog doesn't even move when I do it, but as soon as you put the least amount of pressure on it, it quits. Its pretty noisy it took me a while to get him to sit still but he did finally. Plus they dont tell you. Its a piece of sandpaper that needs to be replaced all the time. Which btw cost more than the damn pedipaw. Stay away from it. The one I purchased had a mail in rebate. I mailed it in and just before I signed the check I read the fine print. Cashing of this check enrolls you in the pedipaws club which is like 49 dollars a year. They whole darn thing is a sham
