OMG HELP!! I can't set a default printer on windows vista. I click and click and the green arrow doesn't show up. I can't print from several programs, helllp!

Go to start > control panel > printer. Is there a green circle with a white check mark under your printer or does it say offline?. If it says offline, click your printer. A window will open. Up on top click printer.Uncheck use printer offline. Close your window. That should do it. If this is not the problem then you'll have to be more specific.

ah no luck. :( it says "ready" underneath the printer but when i try to set it as a default, nothing happens.

Try to find a Forum for this type of printer. So sorry I can not help without seeing. :(
Or use a website called Fixya.com. With a little more fee you can talk to a Live person online. I'd do it if I were you, and still by now, did not fix it.
