  • Maybe, if you believe he existed. People will find a way to do anything if they want it enough.
  • No. Because no one can really pinpoint who the real Adam was.
  • No, because Adam is just one of the hundreds "First Man" legends that are part of hundreds of cultures throughout the World. They are part of the imagination, primitive people trying to explain where we came from. The only reason why Adam is important to us is because a Roman Emperor, Constantine, declared Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire. It was a political decision, not a religious one. It brought Adam to our society, because it is part of the Christian heritage. Over several centuries you had a choice: You either believe in Adam, or got tortured and killed... Tracing your ancestry to Adam would be as impossible as tracing it to one of the Greek gods that came to earth, became men and had children with local women.
  • I do not believe it is possible because there are no good records of genealogies from around 600BC to the middle ages. There is an accurate list of genealogies with ages from Adam all the way to Jacob, and lists from there through several generations in the Bible. We also have record of recent times, but no lists to fill the gap. I believe the Bible, and specifically the Pentateuch as the Word of God and to be taken as literal. From historical context, Abraham lived around 2000BC. From there back, Adam lived around 4000BC. But we do not have a continuous list to go off of.
  • My grandfather attempted to trace his family tree. Unfortunetly, it was discovered some family records were lost in a fire over 150 years ago. The earliest documents found with a similar surname were from over 900 years ago in England.
