I'm going to be in a wedding on Wednesday. I'm 30 years old and divorced. Should I be called the Maid of Honor or Matron of Honor?

    "Maid of Honor" is reserved for never-married women. You have been married. You are the matron of honor.

    I don't think it really matters in the overall scheme of things. I think maid of honor is generally the more accepted term. If people got too hung up on the technicality of weddings, how many brides would actually wear white?
