My dog scratches all the time but no sign of fleas and he already takes allergy pills, what could it be.

    My little dog did the same thing and found out she had food allergies. Also have heard of them getting dry skin. My Vet told me that I could put 1/8 tsp. of Kanola/Canola oil in her soft food each day. (she is 8 lbs.) The oil will help the dry skin. +5

    In addition to the possibilities mentioned...if you are currently using flea and tick preventative products...they can cause allergic reactions...as can VACCINES!
