Help answer this question below.
An agrarian society is one that is centered around agriculture. Pretty simple.
"Barbarian society" is a little more difficult to explain. The word "barbarian" was used by the Greeks to describe anyone who wasn't Greek. This included Celts and Germans, but also Eastern peoples like Persians and Egyptians, and so on. So, really, I can't describe barbarian society in one definition. I could describe the stereotypical barbarian, but that wouldn't really be accurate.
Barbarians were usually clanned together in tribes who made their living plundering off other tribes then eventually throughout Europe. They would steal, rape, and murder then bring their goods back for trade or for themselves.
Agrarian societies lived off the land as their dominant means of sustenance. Socio-economic development centered around farming.
