You're reading Why when I used the word "f**k" in a question it got flagged as offensive but I just flagged a question that had the word "f**k" in it because it was offensive, and it didn't go through?

I got an email saying that the flag didn't go through. I think that's completely wrong.

If it was under the ADULT section that is the one place it might be OK'd. Otherwise I don't understand why it was appropriate either. You can always write to Joel: joel@answerbag.com and ask him. He runs the show.
