How do I stop being so afraid of speaking up in class? I get so nervous that my voice shakes, and my face turns red. What can I do? I have to give presentations this semester, help me!

    anxiety is something that will go away over time, the more you expose yourself to that situation, the better the anxiety symptoms should get. Your brain can only stand that level of emotion for so long, so it will naturally reduce the pressure as a defensive reflex..

    I am just like you when I have to speak in front of a lot of people. Just remember to take deep breaths and don't think too much about it. The more you think about it - the more you'll stress out. But what mikey j said is true, you'll become better with more practice. I wish you the best of luck!
