Which type of "the pill" are you taking? There are several out there, and perhaps even newer ones that I haven't heard of yet.
I would strongly suggest you call your prescribing doctor, or take the question to the pharmacist. The doctor knows 'why' you are on the pill (not all women take the pill to prevent pregnancy, there are other medical reasons that can affect how you take it). The pharmacist will know how exactly to take the pill.
You can actually call the drugstore/pharmacy that filled the prescription to get a phone consultation at most pharmacies (Longs, Walgreens, hospital pharmacies, etc).

You're reading I'am on my first break on the pill and i'm unsure what time i start up again. Before the break i took it at 5pm, should i continue at this time or can i change it? also do i have to break for 7 days or can i start taking the pill on the 5th day?
