During the past year and a half, TLG*EVRYDAYVAL has charged my credit card 4 different times for 69.99. After looking online, I have found that a lot of people have been scammed by this company. Apparently what they do is send you a check in the mail for around 10. And apparently by receiving the check you are agreeing to become a member of their service.

I called the TLG Company and a lady told me that on Feb 2008, they sent me a check with my Chase credit card bill for around 10 dollars. She also said that by cashing the check, I accepted the agreement to become a member of their Everyday Value "service". I informed the lady that I never cashed any checks that I received with my Chase credit card bill from TLG Everyday Value. I asked her to cancel whatever membership that they had signed me up for, and also to send me prove of me cashing this check. After a couple of attempts by them to sell me additional "service" memberships, she finally gave me a cancellation number.

I'm currently trying to work with my Credit card money to be reimbursed for the charges the company made to my credit card.

Tell your mom to call the credit card company and dispute the charges. Tell her to tell them that she does not recognize the charges. Tell them that she did not make a purchase from TLG.

She should call the credit card company and ask them. I would be concerned someone is using her credit card number.
