I worked a week for an employer and was on a guarantee draw. He is refusing to pay for work render. Does he have the legal right not to pay me?

I don't know the whole situation, obviously, but it sounds as if it could be theft of services to me. I would go to the county attorney and file a criminal complaint. If you don't want to do it that way, you can file a complaint in small claims and sue the employer, but it will cost you $65.00 to file the suit whereas, a criminal complaint is free.
