  • 1968-1969 327ci HP = 250 - 275 2 bolt main 1968-1996 350ci HP = 200 4 bolt main (sorry couldn't find the '66 in the info i have, but i did find information on the '66 corvette 327. It was close to the above except the HP was 300)
  • I have a 66 C10 with a matching # Hi-Torque 327 with the orginal powerpack heads. I don't have the block casting # with me, but I remember that it was the same as for pass.cars. The shop manual rates it at 220hp. According to Mortec (www.mortec.com/locatpg2.htm) there were no 4-bolt 327's.
  • 66 327 is a small jounal 2 bolt,68 and 69 327 are large journal the same as a 350 block. What are the marks on the front of the heads? Just a square is std truck or a triangle on the square is power packs 1`74 values, then there are the camel humps on the square 194 to 202 heads. Everything will work. The heads on the old 327 will not have bolt holes for the newer alt brackets. Have fun go chevys
