What movie is this: There was this big circular monster mouth in a pit in the ground, i think in a cave, and it ate a lady whole. The mouth was and red and gross looking, and maybe had circular rows of pointy teeth. no eyes or nose, just a mouth.

I still think about it, chexie. :) Your additional helpful details only draw me further away into "I Don't Know Land," unfortunately. :)

around 6:15 they dump this guy into a hole in a ground that has a monster in it.. the feel and quality of the monster is sorta like what i remember.. like all these cheap rubber pointy teethy but not really flappy monster mouth parts.. but i coulda sworn the monster i was thinking of ate a girl lowered into it by rope or chain to be eaten. and i really thought it was a red monster mouth.. and i soo thought it was in a cave.. it might have been in a pit with a grate over it like in the clip but.. meeehhh i dunno. arrrrggh its making me nuts!

ahhh i found the monster in this Blood Beach film in the last part. the monster i was thinking of was sort of the same idea.. like it was in the ground and was just like this flower-type mouth that just ate people from below like that.. but this wasn't the movie.. now im starting to wonder if i imagined it ! anyway thanks much for the suggestion and if nothing else now i have another cheesy b horror flick to check out for fun :) ty ty :)

im really not sure.. i know i saw it in the 80's but by then i remember thinking 'this looks like an old film' because of the film quality. sometime between 60's to 80's? :p sorry doesnt help much.. ill check out lost continent tho.. :) ty ty :)

nono it wasnt tremors. its "mouth" didn't really have a body, it was just a big circular mouth in a hole in the ground, and it was wet and gory looking, not dry and beaklike like the worms on tremors.

but that was a good movie.

its sort of the right idea in terms of it really being just a big mouth like that.. but in the movie im thinking of i think they showed *only* the mouth and not the worm body, and the mouth was a lot more "wet" looking not dry like the worms.. thanks for the contribution though! i still haven't found the answer and it still does bug me! tyvm for trying! :)
