Can an ex felone with a murder charge and armed robberies practice law or a certain area of law in any state in America, even when the crime was at the age of 16. Person did 13 1/2 years got out in 2003 with only 3 months probation. He has entered college

    I doubt it seriously. It is very hard to get confirmation from the fitness committee in my state to be able to sit for the bar exam. Talk to the state bar in your state, or an admissions person at the law school you are interested in.

    If this person has his heart set on being an attorney and the prospects are dim, he might consider getting a paralegal certificate while he is in college. The Bar might have exceptions for someone who works in the field for a period of time.
