Question

Help answer this question below.

I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Van. I just changed the front break pads and calipers. I bleed the front and rear breaks but the break pedal still goes to the floorboard and the "Break" and "ABS" light stays on. Did I miss a step.

sounds as if you didn't get all the air out. it can take a long time to get all the air out of the system once you open it. also next time a little hint fill the calipers with fluid before putting them on also you can gravity bleed the system insted of pumping breaks they also make one man bleeders. those have a one way check valve just loosen bleeder a little hook hose to run to a container and place where you can see the hose, then pump breaks till no air bubbles in hose.(REMEMBER TO CHECK THE RESERVOIR OFTEN TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T RUN LOW AND PUT MORE AIR IN THE SYSTEM) also might be a leak in the system do you see any fluid under it or on the wheels. might be a bad master cyl. or booster also.

well either you didn't bleed the brakes correctly or you have a bad master cylinder or power booster
look under it to see if it is leaking
