Is there anyway to test blood for CJD

    No. The only definitive way to test for CJD is to do a brain biopsy on a living patient or an autopsy. However, they are working on it.

    I think they need brain tissue to recover the prions that cause it for identification. That's how it works to the best of my knowledge... unless they came out with something new.
