Help answer this question below.

RCA XL100 TV. Hooked up to comcast box in fam rm no picture only snow (tv works well in bedroom (no box) but not channels 2-7). TV set to"Cable" manually. Another old tv works fine with comcast box in fam rm. Can't play dvd through xl-100 tv. Thoughts?

    well you said it works in the other room but not on 2-7, the catv box puts out on ch3 or ch4 - your set has a bad rf tuner & is not going to work for this
