Lakeland Community College located at 7700 Clocktower Drive in Kirtland has classes for both radiologic technology and nursing. If you enroll within two years of finishing high school, you will need to score 21 or higher on the ACT or 1400 on the SAT, you will need to complete high school algebra, chemistry, and biology with a 'C' or better, and have an overall gpa of 2.5. It is also recommended that you see a counselor at Lakeland as soon as possible so that you are sure to take all the prerequisites you need before you start college. Once in school, you will take classes to become an x-ray tech and you will take anatomy and physiology, patient care courses, as well as partiscipate in clinical externiships where you get valuable on the job training and future job contacts and references. You're reading I live in Painesville, ohio and i want to go to school and earn my X-ray tech. lisence after high school and go on to nursing afterward. Where are some x-ray tech. schools in my area and can u give me as much info as possible about it?
